The short version: no cookies, no forms, and only an anonymous count of visits.
Who we are
NaiLê Beauty is a nail salon at 19 Station Approach, West Byfleet, Surrey KT14 6NF. We are the data controller for the information described here. You can reach us on 01932 210424 or at bookings@nailebeauty.co.uk.
This website
This site has no contact form, no sign-up and no advertising. It sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser.
We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which is built into our web host. It records which pages are viewed, the site that sent you, and your rough location and device type. It does not use cookies, does not identify you, and does not follow you to other sites; visits are counted from a short-lived, anonymised fingerprint that is discarded after a day.
The site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, their servers keep a short-lived technical log of requests, which includes the IP address your request came from. We do not read those logs to identify anyone and we do not combine them with anything else.
Booking an appointment
Booking is handled by Setmore, a separate booking service. When you book, the name, phone number, email address and appointment details you enter go to Setmore, and we see them so that we can hold your slot and contact you about it. Setmore also sends your confirmation and reminder messages.
Setmore handles that information under its own privacy notice, which you should read before you book: setmore.com/privacy. You can cancel or reschedule from the link in your confirmation email at any time.
In the salon and on the phone
If you book by phone or tell us something at your appointment, we use it only to give you the treatment you asked for and to contact you about your booking. We do not sell it, share it for marketing, or send you marketing messages unless you have asked us to.
How long we keep it
Appointment records are kept while they are useful for running the salon and for any period the law requires, then deleted. If you would like your details removed sooner, ask us and we will do it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to how we use it. Ask on 01932 210424 or at bookings@nailebeauty.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
If you are not happy with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
